Tax Information

The Municipality of Kingston Tax Office announces that the 2017 County/Municipal tax bills were issued on February 8, 2017. They are due at the discount amount through May 7, 2017, the face amount through June 7, 2017, or the penalty amount through December 31, 2017.

Payments may be mailed to 500 Wyoming Avenue, Kingston, PA 18704. If a receipt is desired, please enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope and the entire bill.

Payments may also be made at the tax office. Office hours are 8:30 am- noon and 1 pm- 4 pm Monday through Friday.

Payment may be made by cash, check, or money order. The Municipality of Kingston Tax Office is not able to accept debit or credit cards.

All tax bills are sent directly to the property owner, not to banks or mortgage companies. Any property owner who has not received a tax bill should contact the Municipality of Kingston Tax Office at (570) 288-4576 ext. 114.

CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY

The Municipality of Kingston’s Administrative Offices will be closed on Monday, December 24, 2018 and Tuesday, December 25, 2018 in observance of Christmas. The Department of Public Works will be open on Monday, December 24, 2018 and will be closed on Tuesday, December 25, 2018. Residents of Zone #2 who normally place their recyclables curbside on Tuesday are asked to do so on Monday, December 24, 2018 and those residents of Zone #2 and #2A who normally place their garbage curbside on Tuesday, are asked to do so on Wednesday, December 26, 2018. Offices will reopen on Wednesday, December 26, 2018.

NEW YEAR'S DAY

The Municipality of Kingston’s Administrative Offices will close at noon on Monday, December 31, 2018 and will be closed on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 in observance of New Years Day. The Department of Public Works will be open on Monday, December 31, 2018 and will be closed on Tuesday, January 1, 2019. Residents of Zone #2 who normally place their recyclables curbside on Tuesday are asked to do so on Monday, December 31, 2018 and those residents of Zone #2 and #2A who normally place their garbage curbside on Tuesday, are asked to do so on Wednesday, January 2, 2019. Offices will reopen on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.

No Emergency Dispatch
Kingston will no longer dispatch police, fire, and ambulance calls. As of 12 a.m. on September 1, 2010, all residents and businesses of Kingston, Forty Fort, and Pringle are required to Dial 911 for Police, Fire and Ambulance emergencies. Do not call 287-6911 as this is no longer an emergency number.
