Public Safety & Preparedness

The Kingston Municipal Police Department, in conjunction with the Kingston Fire Department and Luzerne County 911 are beginning a safety and emergency preparedness program, in which individuals with a disability or medical condition may need alternate accommodations from emergency responders. This program is designed for police, fire and emergency medical services to better serve the citizens of our coverage area.
