The Kingston Community Swimming Pool
is located on Hamilton Street at Lathrop Street.

The pool opens June 8, 2019 and closes August 18, 2019.

Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday noon to 8:00 pm. and Sunday 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Swimming lessons are held Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 Noon.

Holiday Schedule

The Municipality of Kingston will be closed on Monday, October 14, 2019 in observance of Columbus Day. Residents of Zone #1 and #2A who normally place their recycling curbside for pick-up on Monday, are asked to do so on Friday, October 11, 2019. The Municipality will reopen at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 15, 2019.

Recycling Drop-Off Update

Effective immediately, residents are no longer permitted to drop-off single stream recycling at the DPW Warehouse. This measure is implemented due to the significant costs of tipping recycling. Anyone caught dumping recyclable materials on municipal property will be cited for littering. We are sorry for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

Old Tire & Petroleum Based Products Disposal

Kingston will hold a community wide “petroleum drop-off” on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. CLICK HERE for more information.

Weekly Street Cleaning

Routine street cleaning will begin in the Municipality of Kingston on Monday, April 1, 2019. Please adhere to all posted street cleaning signs.

No Emergency Dispatch
Kingston will no longer dispatch police, fire, and ambulance calls. As of 12 a.m. on September 1, 2010, all residents and businesses of Kingston, Forty Fort, and Pringle are required to Dial 911 for Police, Fire and Ambulance emergencies. Do not call 287-6911 as this is no longer an emergency number.
