Demolition and heavy construction are set to begin at the Municipal Building on August 1, 2023. Public parking will be limited and the building grounds and interior will be a construction zone. The Municipal Building and Administrative Offices will remain open Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:30 pm.
For the safety and convenience of our employees and the public, we recommend utilizing the drop boxes or US mail for permit applications, tax payments, employment applications, and all correspondence requiring our attention. The drop boxes are located at the front and side entrances of the Municipal Building.
All residential and commercial permit applications are available on this website under the Zoning & Permit Application tab. If you do not have internet access, we will mail all necessary documents to your attention or arrange for our staff to meet you at an entry point to the Municipal Building. We will make every effort to process your application or business matter within 48 hours of receipt.

As a friendly reminder, District Judge James J. Haggerty is no longer located in the Kingston Municipal Building. The District Court has moved to 57 Russell Street in Edwardsville.
