The Luzerne Conservation District (LCD) will be conducting a truck mounted ultra-low volume (ULV) mosquito control operation in the Municipality of Kingston, Luzerne County. Church Street Park and surrounding residential streets will be sprayed for adult mosquitoes. The control work will begin in the evening hours on Monday, September 11, 2023. High populations of nuisance mosquitoes were collected in the affected area and numerous complaints were received by residents.
The truck mounted ULV spray will be conducted by LCD. The business license for LCD is BU 11113. The product that will be used is AquaDuet, applied at a rate of .62 oz/ac. This product is designed to provide quick knockdown and effective control of adult mosquitoes.
